Overview of team
The IWM sales team are responsible for growing JPMAMs market share with the biggest circa 1000 independent Investment IFAs and Discretionary Management Firms across the UK. 
Role overview
The South Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for growing JPMAMs market share with the biggest IFA and NDFM firms in the South of England.  This individual employs effective sales territory management techniques to ensure that JPMAM has strong face to face client relationships with the biggest independent investment writers across the region that are also writing the most business in fund sectors where JPMAM is most competitive.
Core objectives of role



  • To meet ambitious sales targets and develop JPMAM market share with particular focus on the top 100 IFA firms and 20 NDFM branches within the region.


  • To work in partnership with a sales executive to continue to identify the core list of target clients on which to focus to grow JPM Market share.


  • To ensure effective sales territory and diary management to meet activity targets of 15 client face to face meetings per week and minimum client servicing requirements.


  • Work closely with the Head of Intermediary Sales to ensure strong relationships with other important internal functions within the business including the Investment Desks, GSR, Marketing and Product Strategy.


  • Adhere to standardized sales management best practices including effective sales territory and diary management.


  • Adoption of disciplined sales management practices, including full utilization of sales management tools and technology for effective tracking of client activity and pipeline


  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the regulatory environment, with adherence to JPMAM risk management and control policies.


  • Strong capital markets understanding as well as product knowledge

  • Good knowledge of retail funds market and competitive environment  in the location


  • IMC or similar qualification

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
