Accounts Assistant (Permanent Part time) - Private Equity

Our client is a specialist Boutique Private Equity firm in central London, who specialise in working in International markets. They are recruiting for a Part-time Accounts Assistant to work in the finance function of the business to provide finance support for 3 days per week. This role is positioned in a team of 3 and this role will report into the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities will include:


* Monitor cash balances and ensure all are up to date
* Prepare and review Payments for the Business, General Partners and Funds
* Invoice posting
* Bank reconciliations
* Help with transition to new software
* Setting up payments via banking portals
* Processing of expense payment
* Liaising with suppliers offshore and in the UK
* Responsible for the management of payments of suppliers
* Processing expenses in line with the companies expenses policy
* Ad hoc finance duties

Candidate profile:


* Previous experience in finance working in a boutique business within financial services or professional services
* Competence with cash flow management and consolidation and reconciliations
* Experience of working independently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent communication skills
* Comfortable with Excel
