Job Purpose:

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Risk team in London. As our Risk Analyst, you'll be assisting with internal and external reporting. This role will be central to the periodic reporting cycles and will also work closely with other teams within Finance, such as Tax and FP&A. This role will also be a key component to the control framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running the central cost and project allocations processes after ledger close to ensure costs sit in the correct legal entities and project costs are appropriately booked.
  • PSA analysis and calculation and review and liaison with the Tax team.
  • IFRS 16 - to maintain and update schedules which will drive journal entries, reporting and statutory notes. A good understanding of IFRS 16 would be beneficial. Will include regular liaison with the Property department to keep leases updated.
  • Fixed Assets - maintain the fixed asset register and book depreciation in an accurate and timely fashion each month.
  • Complete the quarterly Private Equity templates in an accurate and timely manner and follow up on any further requested analysis.
  • Maintain prepayment schedules and book the appropriate journals each month.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA preferably although CIMA will also be considered.
  • Financial Services sector experience preferred
  • NetSuite/TM1 experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter able to pick up information and concepts quickly and work with little supervision
  • Need to enjoy working in a strong team, utilising support from colleagues when necessary and to strive for positive outcomes
