Account & Advisory Sales Executive - 12 month FTC

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team
To manage the Business Development Desk. Ensure to the team is set up to support the wider team as needed.

This function looks to complement the overall sales effort, providing support where needed and the promotion of priority funds to new and existing 2nd tier IFA account in the Advisory channel and to maintain a key account panel.

What you'll do
Responsibility to pay due regard to the interests of our customers and treat them fairly, ensuring that any information provided to clients on products and services is clear and useful, enabling them to understand fully what they are being offered. The role also requires familiarity with the team's current procedures, FCA compliance requirements, and the principles behind 'Treating Customers Fairly'.
Manage the Business Development Desk area to ensure that call activity and comprehensive support is given to the field business development team and the relevant client base

Coach and develop the UK Advisory Desk team to ensure high levels of client calls are provided in a compliant manner
Ensure that the efforts of the team complement those of the field based team
Ensure effective management information and reporting is provided to demonstrate success of the team
Provide team with a culture that facilitates teamwork and winning spirit
Develop a panel of clients, building a relationship with the key people, and adding value through engagements
Promote the team priority funds
Follow up with their client panel after event attendance

Rule 1: You must act with integrity

Rule 3: You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, PRA and any other regulators
Rule 4: You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly
Rule 5: You must observe proper standards of market conduct
