Every year investment banks are interested in qualified and qualifying accountants - especially with corporate finance experience - who are looking to transition into advisory. Typically, if you have just qualified or about to qualify you would be applicable for an Analyst 2/3 level position in one of these platforms.
We have a variety of clients, from elite boutiques to global mid-market adivors, domestic advisory firms, sector specialist business, strategic advisory houses, and debt advisory or restructuring specialists. As a result, there is access to all sectors; TMT, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, Infrastructure, Energy, Real Estate, Business Services, and FIG.
Candidates must be qualified or approaching qualification this year (2023). Otherwise, additional requirements include:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (first time passes highly preferable) in 2021, 2022, or upcoming in 2023
- Experience in corporate finance (TS, Valuations, Modelling, Lead Advisory)
- Strong motivations for IB and associated products
- Excellent financial understanding and technical skills
- Outstanding academics
- Client facing interest and personality
Analyst 2 salaries are currently between £65,000 - £80,000. Bonuses vary between 50-100%.
