The Product Delivery function is responsible for co-ordinating the development of new products and modifications for new and existing clients. This involves taking ownership of the development process from initial proposals, through to detailed design, build and implementation in accordance with existing operating models. The team manages launches and modifications for UCITS, NURS and QIS, structured as OEICs, Unit Trusts and Authorised Contractual Schemes (ACS), with a variety of investment managers, custodians, transfer agents and pricing agents.
Planning – Work closely with New Business Development / Client Relationship teams and external investment managers to plan effective fund and small changes. Providing support for team members and BAU activities on IN specie transactions. Consult with internal parties including; Legal, Compliance, Risk and Operations to prepare proposals for internal approval.
Liaison – There will be a high level of co-ordination with external service providers such as Custodians, Depositaries and Fund Accounting partners to ensure that the appropriate operational requirements for Link funds are in place.
Monitoring – this will involve ensuring internal and external parties adhere to required deliverables and SLA’s and tracking. Reporting all risk identified during the delivery of the fund launch or change taking place.
Delivery – actively manage projects to ensure the delivery is to agreed timescale, and to a consistently high standard. Keeping all stakeholders informed of progress throughout the project through regular project meetings and communication.
Build a control Framework to support Product Delivery Lead Project Co-ordinator for new fund launches and changes for existing funds for FA Operational and all Custody related change. There will also be ACD - driven changes such as changes to portfolio structures, pooled fund restructures and other business initiatives as required.
Co-ordination & Planning
Maintain effective planning and delivery to support Product Delivery lead Co-ordinators with operational and custodial elements of a project.Take ownership and responsibility for all activity co-ordination and act as a primary point of contact for the Product Delivery team for items allocated to the individual. (smaller projects)
To ensure that strong communication and project management processes are in place to manage all internal and external parties in the delivery of the new / changing product.
Effective planning, control and mitigation of business risk regarding the relevant internal and external parties.
Be the main Business contact for FA, TA and Custody related project tasks including BAU market and account openings, OCF and in-specie transactions.
Deliver small changes on funds as lead co-ordinator, maintain a high level of accuracy, regularly checking to ensure all details are correct, identifying errors and taking the necessary corrective action promptly according to priority and procedure. Take responsibility for setting high standards and focusing on delivery in a time conscious manner.
Act at the main point of contact for BNYM and assistance in prepping Management Information for service review meetings.
Prioritise effectively to take into account clients requirements, monitoring and driving the planning and delivery of relevant areas to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources.
