Risk and Controls Analyst to work on a high profile 3 month contract at Barlays, Radbroke.
Overall purpose of role
In order to meet the strategic direction for GTIS it is undertaking major transformation projects to move infrastructure services to a public cloud provider and utilise cloud capability. Additionally a separate project is also underway which will rollout office 365 across the bank. As this is a major transformation project Barclays has a requirement to ensure this is achieved in a controlled manner and within the bank's risk appetite.
To achieve this successfully, there is the need to ensure the banks inherit and residual risk positions are understood. As part of this Barclays will identify any impact to existing controls and the need to implement new controls and this information will need to be documented for 1st,2nd and 3rd line consumption. There is also the need to provide independent testing of these controls as part of controls assurance.
- Document identified controls for BHS and BCS programmes following a defined approach outlining the journey to reach the residual risk position.
- Provide independent testing of controls as part of controls assurance.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, and any obstacles and challenges faced in reaching the defined timeframes for the controls workstream for both programmes
