Job Description
Qualifications
Essential:
• Producing Test Plans, Test Scripts (including Traceability Matrix) and Test Completion Reports
• Providing Test Metrics
• Producing Test Estimates
• Raising defects
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Ability to understand how issues relate to business needs
• Comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle and methodology including Agile and/or Waterfall
• Experience using a Risk Based Testing approach
• Ability to query a database using SQL
• Excellent standard of written and verbal communication
• Application systems – experience of recording and solving application support issues from customers, prioritising requests, implementing and communicating timely solutions, both in database and web environments
• Experience delivering application support
Desirable:
• Experience of the UK Financial Services market including the residential/commercial mortgage market
• Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing (ISEB/ISTQB)
• Experience using Test Driven Development
• Experience using Test Automation tools Defect Triage and Defect Management
• Ideally experience of working to ITIL standards
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or appropriate experience
