The Finance Business Partner - Capital will proactively support the Development team with all financial matters associated with the Capital Investment Plan. You'll provide technical accounting advice for the Company in relation to Capital expenditure and influence key players with regard to capitalised head count (circa 500 FTE). The role is responsible for all aspects of the time carding process and providing associated insight and data to advise and guide the business on both levels and type of resource required.

As Finance Business Partner - Capital you'll manage the company's overhead (circa £25m) including producing internal and external reporting for the capital investment programme covering budgeting, allocation and reviewing the account. The role is required to guide the business on levels of capital costs and impact on project performance in addition to supporting the business aim of increasing capital efficiency through increased visibility of indirect costs to key stakeholders.

To be successful you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and financial control
  • The ability to communicate effectively with project managers.
  • The aptitude to understand and effectively apply accounting / tax treatments to investment decisions.
  • A sound business sense is needed as aspects of the role will have a strong commercial focus.
