This is an exciting opportunity for a part qualified financial professional to expand their knowledge and experience as a Financial Analyst through the support of financial controls and reporting for Gatwicks capital delivery programmes.
The Financial Analyst will deliver an essential service supporting colleagues in reporting financial results, identifying risks and demonstrating opportunities to management and stakeholders. You'll review and challenge business cases support the Capital Finance BP in post project appraisals. Using technical accounting practice you'll apply commercial understanding to ensure capitalisations are correct.
To be successful you'll need to demonstrate:

Ability to demonstrate a full suite of analytical skills, ranging from strong data manipulation through to communicating conclusions succinctly.
The ability to influence, challenge and support both financial and non-financial managers is essential
Ability to plan and prioritise, with a focus on delivery.
Ability to forge strong collaborative relationships inside and outside of Finance.
Accurate, detailed but possess the ability to see the bigger picture.
Newly qualified ACCA or CIMA studier, experience of capital accounting desirable but not essential, or 5 years' experience in a similar finance role
Keen to learn and develop
Proven ability to work successfully as part of a large team
Competent to a high standard using Excel and PowerPoint.
Good working knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential.
