VSI PRA Analyst Reporting

The Vendor Services Integration (VSI) Process, Reporting and Analytics Analyst role is to support the definition, implementation and delivery of supplier management process reporting and analytics by the Vendor Services Integration (VSI) team. The VSI function is a holistic vendor management function including performance, relationship, software & hardware management that operates across the breadth of EY Technology and collating all aspects of EY relationship with suppliers - the buy from, sell to and go-to-market with views.
Scope of this role includes governance and reporting, contract and performance management, quality management, communications and metrics tracking. The role is envisioned to support to the PRA and Transformation Lead and the broader VSI organisation.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Support the instigation of initiatives to reviews options in a timely manner prior to contract anniversaries.
  • Support VRM and VSI resources in sourcing projects
  • Support consistent reporting delivery across vendor relationships
  • Support RAID Assurance (metrics, overdue tracking, improvements) and identify systemic RAIDs
  • Support Financial reporting across various supplier relationships and EY Technology services
  • Support consistent reporting is delivered across vendor relationships
  • Support Benefits and Opportunity realisation reporting
  • Support Financial reporting across various supplier relationships and EY Technology services
  • Support internal and external communications
  • Support collaborative ways of working with wider EYT and EYGS teams whilst challenging status quo
  • Knowledge of Power-BI tool and reporting aspects End to End.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify risks, issues and Opportunities in 3 rd party relationships - advising team on the development of risk management and issue management plans
  • Identify potential sources of service credits owed and track through to invoicing
  • Identify and categorize deliverables and obligations in contracts, along with variance from accepted standards
  • Analysis of performance data to produce management information and identify and deliver continual improvement

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Technical skills requirements:
  • Exposure to contract management tools and procedures
  • A good understanding / foundational qualification in ITIL
  • End to end understanding of IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial)
  • Experience of contract review and the identification of key obligations and deliverables
  • Very good understanding of service delivery related key performance indicators
  • 3 rd party management experience in a similar IT environment
  • An understanding of, or experience in, procurement standard practices and processes
  • Strong analytic skills

Supervision Responsibilities:
  • No direct reports
  • Exercises influence at many levels of the organization
  • Requires minimal to no supervision
  • Expected to have regular contact with VSI Program Management Office Leader or Manager as well as Vendor Relationship Managers
  • Expected to work independently,
  • Expected to participate in internal process improvement initiatives

Other Requirements:
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Some flexibility in daily office hours may be required to cover regional time zones
  • Position may be eligible for alternative work locations dependent upon team dynamics
  • Flexibility in work schedule required to successfully execute role during busy periods / multiple timezones
  • Must be fluent in English - written and verbal

Job Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work beneficial experience

  • Experience in a corporate IT environment
  • Experience in PMO or program/project management
  • Financial management experience
  • Experience of working with external vendors
  • Work experience in a professional services industry preferred

Certification Requirements:
  • A relevant program/project management qualification preferred (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI)
  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v2 or 3 would be advantageous
