Technical Architect

Empiric Solutions are working with a worldwide well regarded financial services client who are looking for a Technical Architect to come in and work on various implementations and workstreams on a permanent basis.

Required skills:

• Experience defining technology solutions including integration to legacy systems
• Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience delivering tech solutions
• Knowledge of a wide range of technologies
• Experience eith database management systems (SQL Server/Oracle)
• Knowledge of Cloud database Solutions (Azure/SQL Server/AWS)
• Experience in data architecture and design across ETL, DWH and Analytics, Big Data, Hadoop, SQL and NOSQL databases.
• Strong client-facing skills

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of problem solvers, helping clients solve their business issues from strategy to execution.
• Manage a portfolio of clients while reporting to senior management
• Involvement in the financial management of clients
• Business Development involvement to help spot and research opportunities on new and existing clients
• Contribute to the development of your team's technical acumen
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
• Assist in the management and delivery of large projects
• Develop strong relationships with clients stakeholders as well as within IT teams
• Architecting and designing tech supporting business solutions that meet client requirements on high-impact projects
