The role sits within the Wealth Client and Account Data Operations function of Global Operations. Wealth Client and Account Data Operations provide core production services, Client On-boarding, Account Opening, Static Data Amendments and Account Closure for Wealth and Investment Management and Offshore businesses. In addition to these core production services Data Operations supports and delivers a variety of Regulatory and Efficiency Change Programmes for the business areas we support.

My client a, Tier 1 Investment Bank, are looking to recruit KYC Control: Operations Manager to work in their Glasgow office.


The role sits within the Wealth Client and Account Data Operations function of Global Operations. Wealth Client and Account Data Operations provide core production services, Client On-boarding, Account Opening, Static Data Amendments and Account Closure for Wealth and Investment Management / Private Bank and Offshore businesses. In addition to these core production services Data Operations supports and delivers a variety of Regulatory and Efficiency Change Programmes for the business areas we support.

Main function of the job:

The primary responsibility is to have oversight of the production teams accountable for ensuring that the relevant Segments comply with "know your clients" policies.

The role holder is responsible for managing a number of the KYC production teams within Wealth Data Operations to ensure the department can remain in compliance with regulatory policies, deliver to agreed SLAs and on committed strategic initiatives as defined by Senior Leadership Team.

This includes working with a diverse range of stakeholders and internal customers to build out capability to understand and deliver against ongoing BAU demand. In addition, the candidate must be able to size and prioritise initiatives and manage the effective execution of the approved 'Book of Work'.

The role encompasses accountability for servicing delivery across a number of locations (UK & India) and processes and faces of to a number of different "Front office" stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Knowledge of On-Boarding, KYC and Account Management disciplines and policies.
* Ability to lead a team of scale in an environment where change is the norm.
* Experienced people manager with ability to managing across multiple locations, as required.
* A self-motivated team player who is able to define, structure and prioritize work for self as well as others, but who also has the flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate.
* A good understanding of Operations and how this relates to the P&L.
