We're on the lookout for an inquisitive and tech-savvy Decision Analyst to join our innovative Analytics Team based in our Glasgow Office. Using quantitative analysis, you'll investigate key business issues and you'll use this insight to create value for our customers, colleagues and the company. You'll use visually compelling presentations to influence future business opportunities and make a real impact.

What will you be doing?
• Identifying performance trends, customer behaviours, commercial opportunities and risks through application of quantitative analytical skills
• Undertaking this analysis to maximise product performance, support product plans and drive key strategic initiatives with support from senior analytics colleagues
• Contributing to the design, test and build of complex information to identify causal links between customer behaviour, business opportunities and performance
• Demonstrating an innovative approach to data-based problem solving
• Taking part in initiatives to improve the accuracy, availability, granularity and coverage of our data, and those that implement new data management and manipulation tools
• Communicating the findings of analysis in meetings with senior stakeholders and in visually-compelling reports or presentations

What we're looking for:
• Extensive Analytic experience preferably within financial services products/segments, digital or Telco with experience in creating business models, both financial and consumer behavioural
• Experience in using innovative customer analysis to identify commercial opportunities
• Experience of programming in SQL essential

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of statistical analysis techniques
• Practical knowledge of data warehouse and MI environments and practices
• Practical experience of creating customer segmentation models, and running customer targeting
• Additional computer languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python) are desirable

Where will you be working?
Tay House is nestled in a fantastic central city location. Our modern Glasgow Contact Centre is directly next to the M8 and a short walk from Central Station and Charing Cross train station. Tay House offers a communal coffee pod, but if you fancy nipping out we are right next to two of the main shopping streets in the city centre.
