Change recruitment Groups Global Asset manager is looking to appoint a Mandate Compliance Analyst to join their team which is responsible for the coding and maintenance of both pre and post trade client restrictions on their in-house restriction system. In addition, the team are responsible for carrying out daily post trade monitoring of compliance with client restrictions to ensure that no restrictions are breached inadvertently due to changes in the prices of the underlying assets that we invest in or cash flows into or out of the funds.

Responsibility of the Mandate Compliance Analyst

- Review legal documentation (e.g. Investment Management Agreements) and other relevant correspondence for information relating to client restrictions
- Ensure client restrictions are correctly interpreted and implemented on the in-house mandate compliance system
- Carry out daily monitoring to ensure clients are in compliance with their restrictions and investigate any issues
- Complete regular compliance checks to provide certification that clients have been managed in accordance with their restrictions over specified time periods
- Liaison with internal departments to investigate any issues or enhancements required to the mandate compliance system, including consideration of any impacts and coordination of any testing required to implement changes
- Provide an overview of the responsibilities of the Mandate Compliance team as and when required to internal parties
- Undertake project work as required

Background of the Mandate Compliance Analyst:

- Ideally IOC Qualified or a willingness to work towards attaining this qualification
- Current or previous experience of Investment Administration(e.g. Investment Assistant or Portfolio Administrator)
- Operational experience/knowledge of working on fixed income/derivative Funds
- Ability to problem solve and identify issues in processes
