This role sits within the new HSBC Global Risk Hub in Edinburgh Park, which has grown to house approximately 400 Risk professionals over the last 2 years.
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
This new position sits within the Global Compliance MI & Data Governance group, which provides qualitative and quantitative compliance management information (MI) covering all lines of businesses across the world. The MI is aimed at assisting HSBC's management of compliance risk and at creating transparency towards external parties. This position then sits within the Report Management function of the group and supports the execution of the Global Compliance Management Information strategy.
