This role will be working as part of a global and diverse team, focusing on providing technical API documentation to the software vendor and developer network.
The key responsibilities are:
- Write well-structured, accurate, and concise API documentation for internal and external developers.
- Improve existing documentation tools and processes.
- Work with technology experts on a variety of teams to gain an understanding of the relevant technologies, platforms, and solutions.
- Work with other content designers and development teams to ensure our API documentation is consistent and meets the needs of our users.
Essential skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, getting on well with others
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Courage to work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Experience using Git and GitHub.
- Ability to present complex technical concepts in a concise and clear manner.
- Understanding of the Docs as Code approach.
- Ability to obtain required information by interviewing subject matter experts.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and tools quickly.
- Insane attention to detail.
