Based at PA's Global Innovation & Technology Centre (GITC) you will be supporting the Quality Manager with the day to day operation and maintenance of the onsite wet laboratory facilities. The Product Development & Engineering (PDE) group have access to multiple chemistry and biology labs, as well as an instrumentation suite, that are used to support the delivery of external client projects. These projects could be as diverse as working with medical device companies on new technology, with FMCG companies on new manufacturing processes, or even characterising new materials for use in the consumer electronics space. In short, you will struggle to find a role that gives you such a broad range of industrial exposure.

40% of your time will be supporting the delivery of these exciting projects as a technician with the remainder of your time spent in a laboratory support role encompassing lab maintenance and quality assurance/health and safety support.


Job Requirements
What we're looking for:
You should be a graduate in one of the core sciences (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and be hungry for a varied role in a fast paced environment. This would suit a candidate who is looking for a blended role made up of office-based and bench-based work. You should have great communication skills and thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment that broadens your technical exposure.
