Across the banking industry Data Quality(DQ) is also receiving increased attention and focus, LBG is responding to this by developing DQ as a core pillar within CDO and growing the competency group-wide. As a highly visible topic, DQ is an area to be in right now as it is key to building trust in the data we own and consume as a Group. In joining our team you would play a key role in measuring, remediating, improving and governing the quality of the Group's data assets.
The Chief Data Office (CDO) has created the cohesive Group Data Management Policy for high value data across the Group. This underpins our Group Data Strategy enabling the provision of insights that shape key business strategies and decisions in support of the Group's strategic objective to be the Best Bank for Customers. Leading the Group mandate to satisfy the increasing expectations of our customers, regulators and investors, the quality of data is our responsibility, ensuring clear accountability is established at all points of the data and customer lifecycle.
The Data Quality team is one of the key disciplines within the Chief Data Office. As a Manager in this team, you'll be responsible for developing and embedding DQ elements of the Group Data Management Framework plus support data owners and data stewards to measure the quality of data, quantify the impact of DQ issues and drive remediation of DQ root causes.

Using your knowledge of data management disciplines, you will develop and embed DQ elements of the Group Data Management Framework through:
*Understanding how the design of and detail of business processes impact DQ, being able to identify and articulate data quality gaps, risks and opportunities relevant to the change programmes in scope of the Group Data Management Policy
*Co-ordination, monitoring & publishing of the Group's DQ dashboard and top DQ issues
*Provisioning, management and assurance of the repository for DQ rules and controls striving for continuous improvement in the design and deployment of DQ controls and rules
*Acting as a source of expertise for data quality across the Group, supporting DQ consultancy activities within change programmes developing an integrated model approach to track and measure DQ improvement through change lifecycle
*Engaging with data owners and application owners to agree tactical and strategic remediation of DQ root causes, agreeing approach, scope, tracking and oversight of DQ issues through to resolution
*Defining and developing Enterprise DQ platform capabilities, tools and templates / training providing coaching to business teams on DQ methodologies and techniques
*Building relationships with stakeholders and be part of a growing network of data specialists that champion DQ improvements and consistency across business units and within source systems
*Comprehensive understanding of how data can support the overall service to customers and delivery of the Group's business objectives.
As an experienced Data professional with a background in Data Quality, you'll need to have a proven experience of Data Management disciplines and track record of building strong collaborative relationships at all levels, working with complexity, managing change and risk processes.
