A bit about the job



As a AI/ ML Specialist (Tech & Data Audit), you will lead data-driven initiatives to help uncover risks for our Internal Audit function. You will analyse complex datasets, build predictive models, and create visual insights using visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI. Your role involves collaborating with internal audit stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translating them into actionable insights.



Moreover you will explore cutting edge AI and Machine learning tools to deliver products and value to the business.



Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP), is essential. AI development experience is a big plus.



This position requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management.




Skills and experience we're looking for:



  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, analysis, automation, and model development.

  • Experience building webapps and dashboards using packages such as Dash, Streamlit, Shiny (R) or equivalent packages to support business decision-making.

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and AI technologies, with the ability to apply them to real-world business challenges.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Salary circa £55,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
