Job Title: Financial Controller || Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus
This role offers you the opportunity to join a reputable business at the ground level as they embark on a period of significant growth. You will be able to build out the finance function beneath you as you work with a vastly experienced CFO.
You would usually expect a role like this would require someone with a lot of experience leading finance functions in the past - however the CFO is looking for someone with around 2 - 5 years post qualified experience who he will develop and guide in building out the finance team. This really is a great opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility early in your career and create something.
The reason the business is looking to grow is a result of recent PE investment. On the back of this they are looking to move into other geographic areas through acquisitions, therefore you will also be involved in deal activity.

The right person for this role will be a qualified accountant with a strong financial and management reporting background as a minimum. On top of this, they would ideally like someone who has had some consolidations and acquisitions accounting experience too. Private Equity or Wealth Management experience would be a bonus but is not required.
