Delivering Worthwhile Projects

You'll join our DWP Digital Payment Services team.

Day to day you'll manage the end-to-end delivery of programmes or projects with high risk.

You will have the skills to make it happen within this uniquely complex environment.

With your expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite system, you'll ensure the Banking and Payments Systems service runs smoothly.

You'll mentor more junior members of the delivery community, making sure you and your teams projects are commercially viable and deliver value. You'll also manage your team dynamics, leading by example and demonstrate the right behaviours.

You'll join a thriving community of practice, where you'll share best practice, insight and support with a bunch of other talented, expert Project Managers and Agile Delivery Managers.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly Oracle Financial modules
  • Managing competing priorities while working in a changing environment
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements that can be understood by different audiences at all levels
  • Influencing stakeholders across all levels and across government
  • Leading complex long term programmes of work and managing cross functional dependencies
  • Making informed decisions using data and expertise to ensure successful delivery. Being able to challenge senior stakeholders in a complex, impactful and high risk environment

Your home location will be in your choice of either Blackpool or Manchester.
