You will join a brilliant, multi-disciplinary team within DWP Digital who are responsible for the provision, maintenance and ongoing development of a high-profile departmental web application.
Your role will be varied and you will be making a real difference. Working closely with the system owner, data provider and colleagues, you will be ensuring data feeds meet user and system requirements.
Your role will include all aspects of the data feeds that the system relies upon, including acquisition, validation, assurance, change / additional feeds, issues, ingest, etc.
You'll lead on investigations into data related quality issues and business process requirement changes, providing recommendations and solutions to ensure successful operations.
You'll utilise and build upon your existing SQL and Business Intelligence tooling abilities, to produce ad-hoc queries and lead on how we use Power BI as a reporting tool.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
Please note - the successful candidate must be able to gain security clearance to Security Check (SC) level to take up this post.
