Job Description
Team/Function Overview
This role sits within the Market Data Services function, part of Operations and Technology. Market Data Services is a global function that is responsible for strategy, business analysis and operations (ordering and invoicing) for all Market Data expenses at Citigroup.
Role / Position Overview
The Market Data Invoicing Team Lead role is a function responsible for managing team of invoice processors based in Belfast. This team are responsible for the timely and accurate reconciling of supplier invoices to our Market Data inventory system. They also need to liaise closely with Citi AP to process payments to settle these invoices. The Team Lead is responsible for training, controls and process improvement strategies for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the invoicing team
Drive performance improvements against KPI's
Develop strategies to improve processes and controls within the invoicing team
Work with other teams within the Market Data team to seamlessly integrate the invoicing team into the end to end process
Liaise with external teams, e.g. procurement & AP, and end users as a trusted adviser

The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the Market Data Contract Life Cycle and have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with various teams and external vendors

Qualifications

Criteria/Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
Understanding the life cycle of procure to pay process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to drive process re-engineering
Manage multiple diverse priorities and work well under tight deadlines
Broad understanding of system flow and problem solving
Attention to detail and accuracy of information being presented
Collaborative team player with ability to establish strong internal relationships across businesses and functions
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and Excellent communication skills
Customer service orientation and leadership/influencing skills
Ability to work with senior management, procurement and end users in front, middle and back office
Ability to work independently, self-starter
