SUSI Partners AG is a fast-growing Swiss investment manager focusing on sustainable infrastructure investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy storage projects. We are looking to add a Technical Manager to our existing Asset Management team focusing exclusively on this interesting, challenging and high profile area. The Technical Manager will be responsible for technical expertise on PV, Wind, Storage and Energy Efficiency Assets. The role and the team are based in Zurich.

We are looking to add a Technical Manager to our existing Asset Management team focusing exclusively on this interesting, challenging and high profile area.The Technical Manager will be responsible for technical expertise on PV, Wind, Storage and Energy Efficiency Assets. The role and the team are based in Zurich. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure new technical processes for the company
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key technology partners
  • Lead on technology and operating decisions (repowering, warranty management, unbundling of O&M activities, etc.)
  • Support the team on the digitalization process
  • Lead, coordinate and supervise the portfolio monitoring company and Technical Managers of each SUSI assets
  • Support the transaction team on key contract negotiations (EPC, O&M)
  • Support the transaction team on key studies for investment decision (yield studies, etc.) 

Your Profile:

  • Practical experience in structuring technical processes and technical control of asset
  • University degree with quantitative background from top tier educational establishments (e.g. Physics or Engineering)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent quantitative skills, interest in working with numbers and proven ability to analyse critically
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and goal oriented; a self starter who is highly motivated and hard working
  • Interest in sustainable energy infrastructure with willingness for an outstanding commitment
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgement and integrity
  • Communications skills in English; German and other European languages are a plus
