Tax Accounting & Reporting Manager #107594

  • A key member in the Global Tax Accounting & Reporting team assuming overall responsibility for the group-wide US GAAP and Swiss GAAP tax accounting & reporting processes.
  • The opportunity to take the Global Tax Accounting & Reporting function to the next level, jointly with a specialized and highly motivated team of tax and tax accounting specialists.
  • Responsibility for performing international country/regional strategic reviews of tax rate as well as deferred tax balance drivers and help facilitate the management of the CS Group's tax rate and deferred tax balances.
  • In close co-operation with the Global Head of Tax Accounting & Reporting, take on analytical and forecasting related tasks specifically with a focus on ETR and deferred tax balances.
  • An important role in the further optimization of the global tax reporting process and identify relating solution on how to implement it into our global Tax Accounting software.

You Offer
You offer

  • A University degree or an equivalent educational background coupled with a recognized tax accounting qualification or similar experience. Regulatory knowledge / experience around B3 reporting requirements is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in a tax accounting role or tax compliance and/or advisory function with significant tax reporting responsibilities preferably within a global financial services company, a multinational corporation or accountancy firm.
  • Solid knowledge of international accounting standards and specifically tax accounting related standards, such as US GAAP and/or IFRS, ideally Swiss GAAP.
  • Tax reporting software experience (e.g: Longview, OneSource)
  • Ability to structure process and controls around SOX 404.
  • Experience in working in an international multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent people and team player skills with good communication style.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written), German is a plus.
  • Exceptional IT skills
