Summary:

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze daily failures and proactively partake in corrective action and engineering change strategies
  • Ensure software compatibility of newer/upgraded hardware devices and for international configurations
  • Diagnose and resolve systems issues by telephone and remote log in
  • Support the iterative improvement of software reliability and uptime
  • Create shell scripts to make processes more efficient
  • Testing and debugging of new software releases prior to their deployment to the global fleet
Required skills and experience:

  • 3-4 years' experience in scripting, programming and coding,
  • Knowledge of SQL,
  • Experience in C, C++, Java script, Python or similar,
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/ Mac OS,
  • BS/BE degree
  • Fluent English communication in writing and verbally
