As Relationship Manager, you will join in an existing and established team. You will be responsible for deepening relationships with our intermediary clients and prospects in this region, travelling from our office in Zurich. You will bring us even closer to these clients and offer the investment solutions and support they expect. Your local knowledge, relationships and entrepreneurial spirit will enable us to accelerate growth and reinforce our position as one of the leading asset managers in Switzerland.
- Develop and implement our client-focused strategy, working closely with and reporting into the Head of Intermediary Distribution Switzerland.
- Develop existing intermediary business and win new partnerships with medium sized banks and relevant EAMs to build the volume of assets that clients entrust to us.
- Work with the team to deliver roadshows, seminars, and presentations to raise awareness for Vontobel Asset Management.
- Share local market requirements and product development needs with our Portfolio Managers, Products and other teams to remove barriers to developing new relationships and achieving client satisfaction.
- A proven track record of client growth within the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
- A network and trusted relationships with decision makers private banks and other intermediaries such as EAMs and family offices located in the German-speaking Switzerland.
- At least three years of relevant experience as a Relationship Manager in the asset management industry, selling investment management products to intermediary clients.
- A sound product knowledge across all liquid asset classes
- Native German and professional-level English.
