In this Zurich-based role you are part of the Non-life Actuarial Reserving team of the Swiss Finance Department. The team is responsible for reserving non-life business in Switzerland.
As a Non-life Senior Reserving Actuary with a strong focus on IFRS 17 your main responsibilities will involve:
Support the development of actuarial solutions for IFRS 17, including active contributing to development, as well as testing and implementation of tools
Provide reserving input into financial quarter closes under IFRS 17, and assess the financial impact of the new accounting standard
Develop and prepare actuarial reports under the new accounting standard
Provide insights to finance, reserving actuaries and project managers
Lead the development of delivery and processing of actuarial reserving data
As a Non-life Senior Reserving Actuary your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field
Qualified actuary with at least three years' non-life insurance experience
Finance or Reserving experience will be an advantage
Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking
Good programming skills, experience with SQL, SAS and VBA will be an advantage
Fluent spoken and written English
