My client who is based in Zurich and is one of the fastest growing consultancy firms in Switzerland are looking for a Corporate Finance/M&A Manager to join the team and help build out the growing function.

My client who is based in Zurich and is one of the fastest growing consultancy firms in Switzerland are looking for a Corporate Finance/M&A Manager to join the team and help build out the growing function.

This role will give you the opportunity to be part of a leading M&A team in Switzerland whilst also having access to some of the most reputable international clients on the market. You will be:

  • Supporting the team with advising on a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of transactions, which includes preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for the preparation of information and client communications
  • Conducting industry research for both deal origination and transaction analysis
  • Completing Valuation and financial modelling, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Leverage Buyout (LBO) analysis
  • Supporting both marketing and business development opportunities
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture


Requirements for the role:

  • Graduated from a Master degree in accounting, finance or economics (CFA degree is a plus)
  • A least 5 years’ experience in Corporate Finance/M&A in banks, Big 4 or a professional services firm
  • Strong command of English (German is also a plus)
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills
  • Motivated to work in a demanding and rewarding environment
  • A business-oriented person with a strong appetite for developing a network and enhancing sectorial knowledge of markets
  • Experience or potential to be involved in business development activities and pitching
  • Team player, Team management’s skills
