Energy Infrastructures Partners
We offer a challenging position in the Origination and Transactions team of Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), an investment boutique specialized in private equity investments in the energy infrastructure sector. EIP is a pioneer in this field and acts as an investment manager for a number of institutional investment vehicles with around EUR 3bn assets currently under management.

The managed investment vehicles invest directly in energy infrastructure assets, projects and companies that own, operate and/or develop assets along the entire energy value chain – from hydroelectric power plants, power and gas grids to solar and wind farms, both off- and onshore. With origins in Europe, the EIP team is currently expanding its focus to global investment activities with particular attention on OECD countries in Europe, APAC, the US and Latin America.

Reporting to the senior investment professionals of the Origination and Transactions team, the Investment Associate will be responsible for the coordination and execution of energy infrastructure investments globally along with supporting the origination phase of transactions. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:

  • Excellent academic background with completed studies in business administration or natural/engineering sciences with a master’s degree or Ph.D. from a globally recognized top-tier university or business school
  • 3-5 years of extensive investment experience working on sizeable infrastructure transactions, preferably in the global energy sector. This experience will most likely come from another fund, financial investor, or possibly from a leading investment bank, boutique advisor or in the M&A team of an asset developer/utility
  • First-rate M&A skills, gained from a track record of transactions, ideally across multiple jurisdictions, through supporting due diligence processes in the infrastructure sector and executing asset or company valuations and analyses
