On behalf of institutional and retail investors, financial institutions and high net worth clients from around the world, we invest in a broad range of asset classes across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives. For our Institutional Sales Team within Schroder Investment Management (Switzerland) AG in Zurich we are looking for an experienced salesperson. The person will cover pension fund clients in all of Switzerland.

Job specification
• The person will sit with the Team in Zurich and report to the Head Institutional Sales Switzerland
• Client coverage will comprise all of Switzerland and willingness to work out of Geneva office on a bi-weekly basis is required
• Develop existing client relationships and establish new ones
• Significant contributor to our sales and revenue targets, in-line with our strategic 5-year business plan
• Build a client/investment pipeline across our product range, traditional as well as alternatives. Close collaboration with our Alternative Sales Specialists to sell our Private Asset offering. Knowledge of alternative investments is a plus
• Work with local as well as other investment desks to tailor their proposition to our client needs
• Close collaboration with local client servicing team on a daily basis
• Maintain and apply up-to-date strong investment and pension markets and regulatory knowledge
• Support and participate in client and industry hospitality and training events
• Ensure that all CRM systems are maintained accurately, in a timely manner with up-to-date client information

Required profile
• 7+ years' experience in selling investment products/solutions to sophisticated institutional investors.
• Master degree, CFA or CIIA preferred
• Fluent in French and German is a must. Corporate language is English
• Established client and investment consultant network is a plus
• Understanding of Swiss pension fund clients, their investment needs and restrictions is preferred
• Understanding of capital markets, proven ability to lead asset allocation discussions and ability to link discussion outcome to Schroders product offering
• Significant awareness of competitor propositions and wider market trends in investment strategy
• Strong communication skills - ability to communicate verbally and in written form
• Master degree, CFA or CIIA preferred
