We are seeking an experienced

HR Generalist for an international client group (100%)

The team & the role
You will be part of the HR team (5 members in total) and will work out of our Zurich office located at Westpark near Zurich-Hardbruecke. Working as an HR Generalist for Schroders means working together with colleagues on a variety of tasks, as well as being the first point of contact for our employees on HR related issues. Whilst you are responsible for operational delivery across the entire HR spectrum, you will also liaise with HR colleagues in the London office, our headquarters, as well as other locations.

  • Support client group with all human resources related queries and act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across the business
  • Proactively coach managers on day-to-day HR matters
  • Manage the complete HR life cycle and drive HR processes & procedures
  • Responsible for the entire HR administration for allocated client group (approx. 130 employees)
  • Ensure payroll information and its related tasks are handed over to the vendor properly and efficiently
  • Support the HR annual compensation and bonus review process with bonus pool allocation
  • Participation in or leading of HR projects
  • Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education combined with a degree in Human Resources (HR Fachfrau/Fachmann) or similar
  • Several years of relevant work experience in an international environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Demonstrates integrity, respect and professionalism and maintains confidentiality at all times
  • Very customer oriented and work well in a team
