To strengthen our Fund Operations & Services team, we are looking for a highly motivated professional for the following position in Zurich:

Fund Controller

Job specification
• As a Fund Controller you are responsible for the management of our private equity funds-of-funds, special purpose vehicles and mandates (e.g. financial accounting, management of accounts, cash management short-/long-term planning, bridge facility)
• Evaluation of performance indicators for the fund of funds and mandates and their portfolios, carrying out ad-hoc analyses and production of client-specific reports
• Preparation and review of quarterly and annual reporting
• Monitoring and analysis of investment data including underlying investment valuations
• Answer to complex inquiries from investors and internal clients
• Interface between several internal and external stakeholders (e.g. tax authorities, auditors, investors and other involved parties)
• Audit report workings (e.g. ISAE 3402, annual financial audit of fund of funds, special purpose vehicles and mandates, total expense ratio etc.)
• Onboarding and data maintenance of investor commitments, investor transfers and investment deals
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes
• Project work for the improvement of our daily business

Required profile
• A bachelor degree or higher education in finance or accounting and at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in the alternative asset industry (preferably private equity) would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of accounting policies, including US GAAP and LUX GAAP, would be an advantage
• A high level of motivation and initiative, a commitment to meeting the very highest standards, an ability to work accurately and efficiently when under pressure, and a proven team player
• Excellent skills in an MS Office environment (advanced MS Excel skills)
• Able to set priorities
• Experience in e-Front (FrontInvest) is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken skills)
