IB RegTech is group that falls under IB & CCRO CIO Organization that focusses on making sure Credit Suisse across IB, IWM, SUB and APAC adhere to the Global regulatory standards around Trade and Transaction reporting. This is a global technology division which caters to various jurisdiction specific regulatory mandates. RegTech across financial industry is evolving to adapt the changing needs from regulators and Credit Suisse is in the forefront driving Innovation in this domain
This specific role is for a Full stack Senior Development Manager to join and contribute to our international team of experienced system engineers, architects and analysts, and work on a mission-critical regulatory platform that uses cutting edge technology (based on Java11+, Microservices, Kafka, Python, Machine Learning, Cloud, full DevOps etc.) to strategically serve the bank in meeting its compliance obligations with multiple regulatory bodies across the world.
The key tasks for the successful candidate include implementation of business and technical requirements using innovative technologies/architectures, participate in architectural decisions and have the opportunity to play a pivotal role on how the global platform evolves, Agile / DevOps practices adoption, code reviews, assist in the Product Backlog prioritization along with the Product owners, close collaboration with regional business and technology partners to ensure the platform's value is maximized, ensuring that the regulatory engine has maximum operational stability and technical hygiene, providing regional development leadership, and providing and 3rd level support.
Also key success elements for this role include Awareness of technology trends to use as input in shaping the platform's future architecture. Critical success criteria is the ability to manage partners in Switzerland. Your future colleagues
Our team IB RegTech Organization is responsible for delivering changes to the IT platforms necessary to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements like G20,SEC , SFTR, CFTC, EMIR, MIFIDII, QFC and other legislative initiatives.
The team is spread across 6 global Centres of Excellence in Singapore, India, Zurich, London, NY and Raleigh and comprises a number of specialists including architects, core developers, agile delivery leads, DevOps engineers and test automation professionals. You'll be a good match, if you have:
- 6+ years with web frameworks (ideally ReactJS)
- Excellent core Java (ideally version 8+), and java frameworks like Spring and/or Micronaut skills
- Experienced in SQL development (preferably Oracle) and query optimisation
- Experienced in Microservices and streaming technologies like Kafka / Pulsar
- Proficient in working using Agile frameworks and has excellent DevOps and extensive Test Driven Development skills
- Solid background on adoption and use of software design and architectural patterns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, openness, transparency, passion for learning, flexibility
