Emerging Country Assessor Researcher in Reputational Risk Management

We Offer
  • A meaningful role within our CRO Division
  • A platform to provide emerging country assessment (political risk, environmental, social and economically situation and outlook) as basis for Reputation Risk management decisions regarding business strategy, counterparties and transactions
  • Mentorship on risk identification and potential risk mitigation
  • Development of consistent risk appetite (e.g. thematic risk appetite reviews and alignment), common guiding and quality principles as well as adequate governance
  • Possibility to develop a profound understanding and sensitivity for reputational risk topics
  • To be a point of contact for employee questions concerning emerging countries and related reputational risks including management of requests around the Reputational Risk Review Process
  • Coordination with the business partners globally to ensure good communication, consistency of approach, sharing of ideas and implementation of initiatives


You Offer
  • You have an academic background paired with profound experience in analyzing African countries, strong proven track record (e.g. in International Organizations, Intelligence Community, Journalism, Ministry of external affairs, etc.)
  • Willingness to integrate in a professional team and develop banking and risk management skills
  • You are able to well organize, prioritize, to work multi-tasking and to act independently
  • Interest in the worldwide regulatory and political developments which are relevant for Credit Suisse
  • Ability to collaborate with the internal interfaces on different hierarchical levels within Credit Suisse
  • Interest in a function which offers broad thematic and cultural diversity
  • Special Focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, knowledge of any other emerging country is an asset
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitude who loves to handle multiple meaningful priorities and have good interpersonal skills as and communication skills in English, any other languages are an asset
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
