  • A unique position as Data Scientist Consultant within the Analytics IT team of the Swiss Universal Bank (SUB)
  • In this position you will focus on supporting data scientists in various business areas and use cases for business areas, who do not have their own data science capability
  • Further you are taking an active part of our transformation into a data and analytical insights driven bank
  • You collaborate closely with data scientists in various business teams to help them leverage tools, technology and data in the best positive way for their use cases
  • You love to proactively identify opportunities to apply machine learning and other advanced analytics methods to contribute to the business success, reduce costs and optimize business processes
  • You lead PoCs and analytical use cases development for business areas across SUB and wider Swiss organization
  • Additionally you will take part in the operationalization of analytical models developed by other data scientists to embed them into the bank's business processes


You Offer
  • A university degree or equivalent education in IT or another technical specialization
  • You have shown work experience of applying machine learning and advanced analytics methods to tackle business use cases
  • You are technically savvy and able to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
  • Experience in using various machine learning methods and frameworks, including scikit-learn, MLlib, Tensorflow, Keras, H2O, XGBoost and similar
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL with Oracle, Hive and Impala databases
  • Experience with Dataiku, Jupyter Notebook, Hue-, and other end user tools is highly desirable
  • You have a successful track record of working with Python, Spark, Scala and other programming languages
  • You show confirmed experience with Hadoop technology stack, ideally Cloudera
  • If you already had experience with Tableau or other data visualisation tools, you have an advantage
  • You are able to work in a dynamic environment, are comfortable with changing priorities and tight deadlines and handle your own workload with minimum supervision
  • Further you are a committed and collaborative team member with an independent, reliable and thorough way of working, a positive personality and can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, German skills would be an advantage
