Business Strategist for the Group Recovery Plan

Your role :

Are you interested in making banks more resolvable in the event of a financial crisis? Do you want to play a role in shaping UBS's Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) strategy?

We need someone like you to further develop the Group Recovery Plan which is a key strategic regulatory UBS submission to the Swiss regulator FINMA. The role has exposure to firm's senior management and regulators and provides an excellent basis for career growth and advancement.

In this position you will:
  • Lead the annual update of the Group Recovery Plan including driving the development of the plan, addressing any gaps, implementing improvement measures.
  • Take ownership of quality assurance and ensure consistency across global and local RRP deliverables.
  • Liaise with regional RRP offices and multiple stakeholders across the bank, including Business Divisions, Group Treasury, Group Asset and Liability Management, Tax, Legal and Finance. The role involves interaction with senior management and regulators.
  • Analyze evolving requirements for Global Systemically Important Banks transforming them into recovery and resolution capabilities.
  • Prepare and present findings, recommendations and actions

Group Regulatory and Governance plays a central, strategic role for the UBS Group regulatory agenda working with the major global regulators on behalf of the Board of Directors and GEB. It plays a crucial role supporting capital and liquidity planning in partnership with Group Treasury / Group Asset and Liability Management and the Business Divisions as well as defining the strategic response to a UBS crisis.

You will be part of the Group Recovery and Resolution Planning team, which drives recovery and resolution activities within GRG.
