What we need

ThomasLloyd is embarking on a substantial growth curve over the next few years. Mission critical this growth is a robust Finance department. The Business Analyst role is a newly created role, combining responsibilities in finance with entrepreneurship whose purpose is to support in the tactical handling of all financial data and finance & business relationships. 

Primary tasks include:

  • Active participation in monthly and annual financial statements and other regular finance processes
  • Undertake/support  any actions or initiatives  as directed with regard to financial control activity
  • Compilation of reports, checking presentation, searching for connections and systematic errors
  • Important interface to the Controlling, Accounting and Regulatory functionality of the finance department as well as for the “business”
  • Solution bridge between data scientist and departments
  • Leading the liaison between the  finance department and IT / data
  • Implementation and optimisation of ERP system features (f.e.  SAP), comfortable working with ERP software (f.e. SAP) and confident in system 
  • Improving and optimising the business process in the SAP environment 
  • Data quality and results oriented KPI reporting
  • Interest in and curiously of all data processes, improving business impact
  • Financial requirements and process analysing 
  • Data modeling and data transformation as well as report generation
  • Contributing to the redesign of a central business intelligence solution as part of the finance team
  • Data analysis for the entire TL group
  • Further development of the existing reporting system into the new IT landscape and co-design of the BI front-end interface
  • Participation in setting up a Digital Shared Service Center
  • Routine handling of MS Office and ideally with SAP or best practice ERP systems

What you will have

  • Degree in Business Administration or Business Information Systems specialising in controlling or comparable environment
  • Excellent knowledge of data management systems 
  • Several years of SAP ‘know how’ in finance and controlling
  • Extensive project experience regarding data modelling and data transformation in addition to report generation
  • Good knowledge of SQL / Webservices / Cloudmask etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Experience from SAP BW / Cloud FI, SAP cloud services, Net Weaver a plus
  • Fluent in English and German language with an international mindset
