1st/2nd Support Engineer (m/f)

Swisslinx is currently looking for a 1st/2nd Support Engineer. It is a permanent position based in Zug.

Your mission
- Support international users in various countries
- Act as the first point of contact for reported issues
- 1st and 2nd level support for client operating systems and applications
- Provide terminal server related user issues, Cisco IP telephony, smartphone and remote access solution, multifunction printers, client hardware
- Monitor and review computer patch level and software installation
- Create and update user manuals, maintain and update processes and documentation
- Maintain hardware and software configuration according to defined standards and requirements
- Assist with user acceptance testing

Your background
- Education in Information Technology
- Very good Windows and MS Office knowledge
- Experience with troubleshooting and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Strong business acumen to understand end user and customer requirements
- Nice to have: Citrix XenApp, MS Dynamics CRM, Veritas Backup Exec, RSA Secure ID, Blackberry UEM, Adobe CC, Docusign, Cisco Unified Communication, Symantec EndPoint Protection, WSUS, MS Exchange, MS Sharepoint, Veritas Enterprise Vault, Citrix XenApp, MS Configuration Manager
- Fluency in English and ideally German
