Trading Systems Developer - Geneva
Job Summary: A trading systems developer position, working directly alongside the CTO, at a systematic fund manager based in central Geneva, overlooking the river.

Job Description


An asset management firm based in Geneva, they have the ethos of a start-up, and specialise in alternative asset classes with a significant presence in FX markets. Their objective is to research and implement trading strategies that make money for their clients.


Working closely with the CTO, you'll join a talented team of researchers, engineers and traders, developing trading APIs, back-testing, reporting and monitoring tools to enable efficient strategy implementation.

The successful developer will also design and develop low-latency trading systems and build fundamental libraries for the research team, optimising performance and development of infrastructure.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • 3+ years commercial experience .NET development in C# or F# is essential
  • Strong programming skills and good understanding of CompSci fundamentals - algorithms, data structures, complexities, etc.
  • Degree in a quantitative subject - e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering - from top tier university
  • Excellent communication skills - with fantastic written and spoken English
  • EU/Swiss citizenship or existing permit to work in Switzerland
