This is a high profile role in a small but high impact team.  It carries responsibility for conducting research and credit analysis of bond issuers and will involve working closely with fund managers.  Sector focus is on banks and insurers and geographical coverage mainly European, although some wider coverage of emerging markets also forms part of the role.  On a day to day basis the role will involve conducting credit analysis, continually monitoring quantitative and qualitative values of issuers and their respective securities, assist the fund managers in the investment process for both fund portfolios and private clients and research new investment opportunities.  The successful candidate must be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills as they will be expected to participate in investment committee meetings as well as roadshows and other presentations and meetings.
Applicants will be experienced credit analysts with buy side, or possibly hedge fund experience.  Strong academics are essential and knowledge of investment fund/bond management will be a great advantage.  The ideal individual will demonstrate the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment, utilising research and analysis to support investment decisions.  Fluency in French and/or German in addition to English is strongly preferred.
