An exciting opportunity for an experienced, British global equity portfolio manager with solid track record to move to Geneva, Switzerland and join a leading asset manager.


Leading Swiss asset manager, part of a first-class global group, with teams operating out of Geneva, London, New York and Zurich. With a unique approach, they combine the best of alternative and traditional asset management to offering their clients and prospects a diversified range of investment solutions, including a number of new and innovative approaches. You will be part of the team responsible for the fund management of European institutional mandates and funds. 


Joining a busy and successful, growing team, your role will include the following elements:

  • Responsibility in all aspects of managing global or regional equity portfolios, as a co-PM
  • Analyse investment opportunities in the European Equities market
  • Conduct competitive analyses, peer group analyses and overall market research
  • Participate in on-going portfolio management including business analysis and exit opportunity assessments
  • Taking and implementing investment decisions within a defined universe of stocks, funds, passive instrument
  • Portfolio construction, optimization, monitoring, with regards to defined constraints, risk-budget and philosophy
  • Contributing to continuously enhance investment process, practice, implementation
  • Reporting and communicating to internal and external parties, including internal deliverables, presentation materials, ad hoc requests



  • University degree in Economics/Maths/Engineering (Bachelor/Master)
  • At least a minimum of 12 years++ experience in managing and and analysing European large and mid cap equity portfolios 
  • Proven international experience from London in the institutional asset management space
  • Ability to deep-dive into individual company analysis, ideally combined to broad beta allocation capability (regions, sectors)
  • An expertise in portfolio construction / risk allocation
  • The ability to work within research-intensive, narrow universe of stocks and funds
  • An absolute team player, with strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels
  • Happy as part of a close-knit team, an entrepreneurial mindset in this dynamic organisation
  • Native English speaker; French a strong plus but not a must
  • Happy to relocate to the Geneva, Switzerland area - compelling reasons
  • British, Swiss or EU passport holders only due to Swiss work permit regulations
