The chance for a lawyer to join a leading bank in Geneva, working with clients from the UK, Europe, Middle East and beyond on all areas of tax and legal advice

Leading, large, global bank with an excellent reputation and offering tailormade and bespoke services to its HNW and UHNW as well as corporate clients globally. Long-established and highly successful Geneva office, working closely with their other offices globally. A bank that is going from strength to strength and continuing to grow and succeed.   A high calibre, most personable team, where you can be autonomous and have good visibility in your role, working alongside experienced staff members; what is more an extremely personable and experienced wealth planning head to report in to.
This is a client that Finders work with regularly, giving candidates peace of mind in their application.  Perhaps you are in private practice in the UK or Geneva and looking to move to an in-house role? Fed up of Luxembourg and looking for a nicer location to continue as a wealth planner? Maybe you are working within a corporate multinational today and open to moving to a bank to advise clients on UK/European tax and wealth planning aspects?   In all these cases, it would be well worth contacting us for a first, confidential discussion.

Joining a busy and dynamic global wealth planning team who provide an impartial advisory service for the private clients of the bank.  Working directly with these clients as well as the bankers, you will travel as needed and build a real long-term relationship with the clients.   The advantage of this bank is that wealth planning is not a profit centre and is a complimentary service.  This is therefore very attractive for someone looking to focus less on product-pushing and NNM targets and more about the overall advice they can give to the client in terms of tax planning, wealth planning, inheritance, investments, property, family/succession aspects etc, whilst at the same time have a rewarding job that you can feel good about and getting paid generously on top if it! Focusing on the UK market segment, you can also bring clients or experience from European markets as well as Middle East markets.   It would be possible to deal with clients from all these areas under your care, as part of a very collegial and well-respected team who put the client first and are passionate about what they do.
Your role will include, but not limited to, the following elements:

  • Advising private customers of the bank

  • Qualification of the tax status of financial products distributed by the Bank
  • Offering advice to UK domiciled and non-domiciled clients on all aspects of tax implications, trust structures, real estate, inheritance etc
  • Travelling regularly to visit clients and working closely with the clients' private bankers
  • Legal and fiscal support to compliance teams and reporting
