One of the global private banking franchises is seeking a Desk Head to join and manage their Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Private Banking team based out of Geneva. Open to candidates with either traditional private banking experience or those who have developed leadership experience and UHNW relationships with the relevant client base in another area of financial services

[1] REQUIREMENTS

  • Substantial of experience of relationship management within the banking sector
  • Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
  • Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
  • Possesses business vision and be able to strategize and prioritize work objectives
  • Able to manage people well and to attract and retain talent
  • Able to communicate and work well with senior management as well as with other business groups 
  • Capable of making business decision and provide judgement and clear direction within the established framework
  • Capable of conducting effective sales management and profit centre management
  • Capable of working closely with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment

[2] RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exceed the goals and targets established for the Relationship Manager team
  • Lead, coach and supervise the team of relationship managers and foster a team environment
  • Help relationship managers cultivate and deepen client relationships
  • Meet top clients and clients with high potential 
  • Supervise the activities of the team including all areas of material risk
  • Grow revenue and increase AUM of the team
  • Identify cross selling opportunities and increase number of successful outward referrals to other parts of the Group
  • Maintain highest standard of excellence in client service across the team and with individual portfolio through a range of initiatives
  • Ensure team is collaborating with other functions, products and services for the client
