The Role
triCalculate offers web-based centralized services for high performance XVA risk calculations and independent trade valuations for OTC derivatives. As such, we have teams with high skillsets in quantitative engineering and full stack development.

As a developer in triCalculate you will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas. Your role will be unique with great focus on the application side of the triCalculate service, but still requires quantitative knowledge and understanding.

You will be a part of a team with responsibilities ranging from researching mathematical models for Valuation Adjustment calculations to writing C++ and high performant GPU code. Other team functions consist of model validation, documentation and educating clients in our models. Starting out you will be focusing on full stack development but over time will you be involved in all areas of the teams responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with an interest in our technology stack, which is a micro-service architecture built using for example Kubernetes, Docker, Python, MySQL, Cassandra, React and TypeScript. Experience in any of these areas are seen as a merit but not a requirement, however an interest in these disciplines and a willingness to learn is.

We're a small and driven team with ownership of the entire development process, and we believe that you have a few years of professional experience from either the financial or tech industry.

  • Work together with the product owner and other teams in an agile environment
  • Investigate and suggest new technologies and solutions

  • Familiarity with the full software development life cycle.
  • Master's degree in financial mathematics, mathematics, physics or computer science
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience from financial computations and financial mathematics
  • Fluent in English
