Position Title: IT Support, Korea WSS
Job Level: Associate
The SeoulIT team is looking for an experience Infrastructure Technical Support person. The role requires that the candidate is fluent in English and Korean. This position requires the candidate to have a proactive, ambitious and client oriented personality.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain stability, service and ensuring the availability of technological systems for the end user environment. Operationally, the person will need to provide end user support, manage projects, procurement, moves/adds/changes, training and communication pertaining to the users? technology environment
Primary responsibilities include (but are not restricted to):
Client services and support
Incident and Problem management: Owner of user issues and ensure that trouble tickets are updated and acted on appropriately
Setup and support of basic user desktop equipment including mobile devices
Develop and maintain relationships with the Business Units and understand key BU applications and processes
Infrastructure & Technology
Identify chronic issues and remediate / escalate accordingly
Improve efficiency in day to day IT operations
Manage/Operate the market connectivity including the market data
Conduct due diligence and check-outs on IT operational procedures / change requests
Communicate with Vendors on outstanding issues and requirements.
The candidate will work closely with the HK Service Manager, escalation Teams, regional infrastructure teams and vendors in their day to day operational role.
There will be the possibility that the candidate will be required to work after hours and on weekends.
