Team Overview:

The International Private Bank (IPB) Operations platform supports our Private Banking business in Asia, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America from a hub based in Geneva, Singapore & Mumbai.

Responsibilities :

International Fiduciary Services (IFS) is a core business of the Private Bank, offering discretionary and directed trust products to meet the long-term estate planning needs of our wealthiest clients domiciled in Asia, Latin America and EMEA. The successful candidate will work within Private Bank Asia Operations and provide oversight on the outsourced operational activities supporting the Asia fiduciary business as well as provide onsite operational support.

•Work closely with key business stakeholders, Regional COOs, Legal, Compliance, Business Management, Product & Platform and Technology on fulfilling responsibilities of the Operations Risk and Controls team.

•Provide oversight on all the outsourced operational activity supporting the Asia fiduciary business.

•Ownership of and proactive management of the Risk Controlled Self-Assessment (RCSA) cycle; Identify risks related to the Operations model, perform control tests, and validate test strategies; Assess business risks and work with Regional Leads and teams to ensure adequate detective and preventative controls are in place to mitigate risk.

•Ownership and proactive management of Action Plans including opening of plans, analysis of solutions, plan proposal, oversight of plan tasks, validation, manage chain of approvals and closure.

•Ensure Operations is in compliance to the firm's business continuity, record retention and data privacy policy.

•Perform root cause analysis and work with appropriate groups to recommend controls and solutions when researching risk events, operational processes, and new regulatory initiatives.

•Audit management and information gathering and analysis.

•Establish quality metrics and results to identify recurring control issues and track trends. Proactively assess areas for process improvement and make/propose changes as needed.

•Facilitate meetings, prepare documentation, and meeting minutes, as necessary

•Support the business initiatives via process re-engineering, system enhancement.

•Work with the Operation team to provide metric for senior management review and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications:

•A minimum of 2 years' experience in Risk and Control or Fiduciary Operations.

•Able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.

•Detailed oriented, Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

•Able to collaborate with stakeholders in different region and time zone to deliver the assigned tasks

•Good understanding of outsourcing governance, Risk and Control Self-Assessment process and regulatory submission.
