Retail Banking and Wealth Management serves millions of customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Transactional Banking.

Principal responsibilities
  • Identify business opportunities and product gaps so as to achieve competitive edge for deposits, including debit cards.
  • Initiate and be responsible for new product launches and product campaigns, including developing business cases, to meet consumer changing needs and Bank's funding requirement.
  • Led and manage process improvements and system enhancements as part of product management
  • Responsible for product pricing strategy and profitability for deposits and debit cards.
  • Ensure that all product solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration to ensure a successful execution of initiatives.
  • Identify business opportunities and gaps so as to achieve competitive edge in the retail banking payments and remittances business.
  • Management and execution of initiatives and campaigns
  • Serve as the conduit between the retail distribution and payment operations teams to ensure the smooth running of local and international payments.
  • Ensure that payments processes and products are aligned with Global Standards and Anti Money Laundering requirements.
  • Management of product Profit and Loss


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Degree holder with strong years of relevant experience in Deposits or Payments.
  • Background in deposits product management, proposition or marketing will be advantageous.
  • The job holder will also need to be comfortable working with data management and profitability models.
  • Ability to think out of the box and strong in stakeholder management
