We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Project Manager and Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

  • Management end to end as project lead in IFRS17, and demonstrate the good governance to meet exacting timescales necessary to comply with IFRS17 requirements

  • Responsible for material to present in local IFRS17 project steering committee chaired by Chief Executive Officer or Chief Operating Officer on the progress and manage multiple work stream in the projects and drive in weekly project working group. Proactively update to senior team on the risk, issues, milestone and escalation or recommendation path to Green1, ensuring the scope, cost, timeline are effectively manage and in good control project timeline.

  • Defining the approach and dealing with complex requirements and unique projects, often multiple initiatives and work stream within IFRS 17

  • Achieving benefits as per strategic goals which are set out in the business case

  • Management of stakeholders both at Chief level and also working team

  • Working with multiple delivery and business partner teams to drive the project outcome

  • Good understanding of IFRS17 requirements for Singapore Insurance Business and drive governance through Business Transformation Management Framework, Business Case, User Story, and tools like Clarity, Status Report and Open Workbench

  • Working under both Waterfall and Agile Methodology to driving a culture of achievement

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Project management skills , Business Analysts Skills and proven professional with considerable experience as project or programme lead in large and complex transformation Banking or Insurance Industry

  • Proven record in decision making, analytical and people management and experience in managing difficult stakeholders of different work streams

  • Proven record in excellent presentation skills with strong governance in programme management experience with senior management at Chief level.

  • Proven leader to delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes, a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes

  • In depth and well-rounded experience of working in a banking and Insurance environment and change projects

  • Excellent and Proven record of Stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realization.

  • Good prioritizing, multi-tasking, organizational, time management ability and able to work in dynamic and fast pace culture including multiple hat.

  • Hands on attitude being able to cope with a wide range of different requirements and projects aspect including data migration, process streamline, finance, pricing, products, vendor and infrastructure.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong Team skills promoting and environment of cooperation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered.
